The main producers of this oil are Ukraine, Russia and Argentina. Refined sunflower oil has a high smoke point, which is why it is suitable for frying and pan-frying.

Ukraine is one of the world's leading exporters of sunflower oil. Ukraine is developing the growing, processing and manufacturing of sunflower seeds and sunflower oil. In 2020, Ukraine exported more than 2 million tons of sunflower oil, and Ukrainian sunflower oil is known worldwide as a premium product.
